Gem and Enhancement

Process and Exchange
Rough Stones
There are Rough Stones for each type of Gem, and they drop from monsters.
They can be processed into Gems using Human skills.

Only the Human race with the Gem Processing skill can process Rough Stones into Gems.
Processed Gems can then be used to enhance weapons and armor.

※ “Gems” created by exchanging Chips with the Gem Merchant do not require processing.

How to process Rough Stones
Only Humans with the Gem Processing skill can process using Gem Processing Tools.
Gem Processing Tools are sold by an NPC inside Lost Realm Castle.

1) Set the Rough Stone in a quick slot.
2) Purchase Gem Processing Tools.
3) Press the number key of the quick slot where the Rough Stone was placed to process it.
4) If processing fails, a message will be displayed.
5) On success, a message appears and the item graphic changes.

For non-Human races
Similar to normal item trading, you request processing from a Human. In this case, you temporarily hand over the Rough Stones to the Human who will process them.
Therefore, a trade commonly called “Masse” is often used.
“Masse” is a trade where you exchange Rough Stones for processed Gems plus a service fee (negotiated between both sides).
Gem Exchange System
By trading with the Gem Merchant in Laglamia Square, you can upgrade to higher Gems.
You can exchange 3 lower Gems plus a certain amount of Gold.
When exchanging for Ruby or higher, Magic Platinum is required.
Reverse exchanges are not possible (e.g., Topaz → Amethyst).
Regent Diamonds cannot be created via exchange.
